So,
Just in case you were wondering: yes I am still alive.
I am very cold over here, but other than the snow (and there is enough to go around) and the wet, I am hanging on.
So, all of the excitement about Joel and I going to another foriegn country together can end now: Joel is going to Afghanistan. Yeah...pretty intense. I really think that that is awesome and all, but I don't think that it was very fair:
1. It was not an option, and they didn't tell us about it. I'm not even sure how Joel came to find out about it.
2. If it was an option that I would have known about, I would have put it as my first choice [and no, I'm not just saying that because Joel is going].
3. What about people like me who would have been interested but didn't get the chance?
I guess that God has a bigger plan than I do once again.
Last week was Plumbline [Greek for: make sure that you're right with God week.] I learned that: 1) I'm supposed to be a leader, 2) my wife is going to play a big part in my ministry [whatever that is going to be], and 3) sometime in the future I'm going to sign an important contract and it will be a good thing. Yeah, I'm so much more confused than I was two weeks ago.
The cool thing is: I am feeling awesome! I love Jesus!

hey! i got another quote for you!
"Truth always leads to more...truth. Because truth is insight into God and Got is infinite and God has no boundaries or edges. So truth always has layers and depth and texture."

Hey Justin! I just want to remind and encourage you that God is good, and He knows you even better than you know you... and He knows what He's doing, His plans for you are GOOD! Rest in them. Outreach will stretch you and bring you closer to Him, even more than you have come already!! It's going to be amazing, even without Joel. Believe that!
blessings,
Kati J.

Hey buuuudy, this is Curtis
How are you Justin. I hear you've had some rather interesting challenges since you've been there. I myself have been struggling with some stuff. But God is good & always will be.
So lately i've been quite blessed just seeing God in everything the past few weeks. Been going trough the truth project class at church, which has been extremely reveeling & God has just been continualy showing himself more real to me. Plus the almost 150 baptisms. I was just overwhelmingly filled from that, it was....was.....was just awesome.
Also getting back from Mississippi about a month ago. That was probaly the highlight of events for the past like ever. So the reason for that is because, I was I gues, again just filled w/his spirit. I got to see this girl accept christ over the course of the week, & I................got to be apart of that. I was filled to the point of having to cry about for aprox week(of & on).
Anyways, I'll be glad to hear back from you. I trust that you are(cause of course what else do you do there), but just remember to seek him in EVERYTHING. So blah..................thats all I's gots for now.
-love ya brotha
